Traci Owen Vella is an associate in
the firm and a native of Heflin, Alabama. She earned her law
degree from the University of Alabama in 1996, and her Bachelor of
Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Auburn University in
1993. Traci is a member of the Family Law Sections of the
American and Alabama Bar Associations and the National Association
of Counsel for Children.
Traci devotes her practice primarily
to family law, including divorce, alimony, custody, paternity and
child support cases. She is one of two Alabama reporters for
the American Bar Association, Family Law Sections,
Law in the Fifty States,
which summarizes family law issues
around the country.
Prior to joining The Crittenden Firm,
P.C.,
Traci was associated with the law firm of Leslie McWilliams in
Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she worked as an advocate for
children while establishing a successful family law practice,
including divorce, adoption, custody, child support, paternity and
juvenile law. She was a member of the Chattanooga Bar
Association and frequently served as a Guardian ad Litem for the
Chancery, Circuit and Juvenile Courts.
